Echinodorus ozelot/ Red banana plant (large pot)

Echinodorus 'Ozelot' is a decorative hybrid between Echinodorus schluteri 'Leopard' and Echinodorus 'Barthii'. The height of this plant varies between 20-50 cm and normally has a 20-40 cm wide rosette. Due to its elliptical black spots on the red-brown leaves they got the name 'Ozelot'.The growth rate of this plant is fast and the ph required is 6-8 for optimal growth.They require moderate lighting and maintenance of this plant is extremely easy. They propagate through side shoots that grow off of leaves and can be removed and replanted if needed. They can be grown emerged or submerged. They are colorful and attractive plants. They have a short stem with large leaves.
