Calathea Vittata can be just as finicky as other Calathea family plants; you might notice that their leaves are crisp, curl, yellow, droop, and other unpleasant things. The Calathea Vittata dislikes direct sunshine, like all Calathea plants. Their leaves can burn and turn brown when exposed to the sun's rays. Instead, choose a location where the plant can receive medium light and shade from the sun. Calathea Vittata must receive regular waterings and must not be allowed to go dry in between. Put your fingers in the top two inches of soil, and as soon as you notice that it is beginning to dry out, give your plant some water.
