Monstera siltepecana

Tropical plants from Mexico and Central America, such as the silver monstera 'El Salvador' and the monstera siltepecana, are frequently planted as houseplants. The juvenile lance-shaped leaves of this epiphytic climbing vine have silvery patterns against dark green veins. A mature Monstera siltepecana leaf may become fenestrated, or have holes, and lose its silvery hue in favour of a deeper green under the right circumstances.
