Maranta 'Cat Moustache'

The elusive NOID, Dark, or cat moustache, also known as Maranta leuconeura 'Massangeana', is a rare praying plant with a silver midvein framed by a flush of rich purple-black. From the oval leaf's centre vein, slender silver veins extend towards the leaf's green edges. It is a fascinating, much desired indoor plant that admirers of prayer plants simply must have! Please be aware that Maranta leuconeura 'Massangeana' leaves vary in colour and are all unique, with some having only silver markings. Colours vary depending on the plant's age and light intensity. Typically, Black Maranta leaves begin with markings resembling Maranta Silver Band, but as the plant matures, the characteristics become more distinct.
