Light:
Bright, indirect light is ideal. It can tolerate medium light, but brighter light helps maintain long, healthy leaves and deep coloration. Avoid direct sunlight.
Water:
Water when the top 30–40% of the potting mix dries out. Keep the soil lightly moist but never soggy, as overwatering can cause root rot.
Humidity:
Prefers high humidity (60% and above). Grows well in humid rooms or with a humidifier, though it can adapt to average indoor humidity.
Soil:
Use a well-draining, airy aroid mix (orchid bark, coco chips, perlite, and a bit of compost or coco peat).
Temperature:
Thrives in warm temperatures between 18–30°C. Avoid cold drafts and temperatures below 15°C.
Support:
A climbing philodendron—provide a moss pole or plank for larger, more elongated leaves and faster growth.
Fertilizer:
Feed once a month during the growing season with a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer.
Maintenance:
Low maintenance. Trim yellow or damaged leaves as needed and wipe foliage occasionally.
