Alocasia lauterbachiana is a striking tropical plant known for its long, narrow sword-shaped leaves with wavy or serrated edges.

Height: Usually 2–4 feet indoors

Because of its unusual leaf shape, it is popular with aroid collectors and indoor plant enthusiasts.
Keep soil evenly moist
Water when the top 2–3 cm of soil dries
Avoid waterlogged soil
Alocasias do not like completely dry soil.
Use a well-draining aroid mix:
Coco chips / orchid bark
Cocopeat
Perlite or sand
Compost
Example mix:
30% coco chips + 30% cocopeat + 20% perlite + 20% compost
Feed every 3–4 weeks during growing season
Use diluted balanced liquid fertilizer
Usually propagated by rhizome division:
Remove plant from pot
Separate the rhizome offsets
Plant them in fresh soil
