Philodendron patriciae is a rare, tropical plant prized for its long, narrow, cascading leaves with deep green color and subtle veining. Native to Colombia, it thrives in warm, humid environments. For best results, place it in bright, indirect light; direct sunlight can damage its delicate foliage. Use a well-draining, airy soil mix to prevent root rot. Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, keeping the soil consistently moist but not soggy. High humidity (60% or more) is essential, so mist regularly or use a humidifier. Maintain temperatures between 65--85°F (18--29°C) and avoid sudden temperature changes. Feed monthly during the growing season with a diluted, balanced fertilizer to promote lush, healthy growth and striking foliage.
