Similar to Colocasia esculenta 'Milky Way', Colocasia paraiso is considered one of the most expensive Colocasia varieties in the plant market. However, like most variegated plants, its coloration can be unstable, potentially reverting to original colors or fading in subsequent generations, which increases the risk factor.

Special care instructions for all Colocasia varieties:
- Repot the plant immediately upon arrival.
- Be aware that the plant may sustain damage during shipping; new leaves typically appear within a week.
- Place the plant in indirect sunlight for three to seven days after arrival.
