Jade Pothos care
How much light does a Jade Pothos need?
Epipremnum Aureum Jade tolerates low light conditions but its growth will be slowed down. If you want to see your Jade pothos growing fast and healthy give it as much bright light as possible by placing it next to a south or east-facing window.
Make sure your jade pothos is not under direct sunlight for long periods of time or it will burn its leaves, so if you place it in porches or next to a sunny window, make sure to filter the light most of the time.
How to water a Jade Pothos?
Water your Jade pothos every time the top inch is dried, but don't over water it because their roots rot easily. To avoid over watering you can use terracotta or porous materials.
The best practice for watering a pothos is to do it slowly so water doesn't run down the outside of the root ball and making sure the central part is watered.
What's the ideal humidity for a Jade Pothos?
Epipremnum Aureum Jade does okay in average room humidity (around 40% relative humidity) or higher. Brown leaves could be an indicator of low humidity.
How to fertilize a Jade Pothos?
You can use diluted regular houseplant fertilizer once a month or during the growing season of spring through early fall. Too much plant food causes excess salt build up in the soil that can result in leaf burn.
