Light:

• Bright, indirect light is ideal. Mimic its natural habitat on the forest floor, where it receives dappled sunlight.
• The color of the leaves can vary depending on the light. In high light, they are a rich, light green, while in low light they can become dark green to almost black.
• Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the delicate leaves.

Humidity:

• This plant requires very high humidity, 80% or more, to thrive. This is why it is best suited for a contained environment like a terrarium or paludarium.
• Regular misting or a humidifier will be necessary if you are not growing it in a sealed environment.

Watering:

• Keep the soil or substrate permanently moist, but ensure it is not waterlogged.
• It's important to provide excellent drainage, as sitting in stagnant water can cause the rhizome to rot.
• While it prefers constant moisture, it can surprisingly withstand short-term droughts.

Soil/Substrate:

• This plant is often grown "emersed" (above water) on rocks or driftwood, which mimics its natural growth habit.
• If you are potting it, use a well-draining, airy mix. A mix similar to what you would use for orchids, with components like coco coir, perlite, and bark, can work well.
• The plant's rhizome should not be buried in the substrate, as this can lead to rot.

Temperature:
