Hoya Hindu Rope-Jiffy sized

          The Hindu rope plant (Hoya carnosa 'Compacta') thrives in bright, indirect sunlight and well-draining soil. Water it thoroughly only when the soil is completely dry. Protect it from heavy monsoon downpours, keep it in moderate humidity, and use a pot with good drainage to prevent root rot.

Essential Care Requirements

Light: Give it 4 to 6 hours of bright, indirect light daily. Morning sun near an east-facing window works best. Avoid harsh, direct afternoon sun, which can burn the waxy leaves.

Watering: Allow the soil to dry out completely between waterings. These thick, semi-succulent leaves store water, making the plant very sensitive to overwatering.

Soil & Pot: Use an airy, fast-draining mix combining standard potting soil, perlite, and orchid bark. Always use a container with a functional drainage hole.

Humidity & Temperature: Appreciates normal household warmth (18°C to 24°C) and moderate humidity levels (40–60%).
