Platycerium wandae is one of the largest and most impressive staghorn ferns in the world. Native to the rainforests of Papua New Guinea, it is prized for its massive silver-green fertile fronds and broad shield fronds that form an elegant crown. As the plant matures, the long antler-like fronds can reach over 1.5–2 metres in ideal conditions, making it a spectacular statement specimen for collectors.
