☀️ Light
- Bright, indirect or filtered light is ideal.
- A little gentle morning sunlight is fine.
- Avoid strong afternoon/direct sun, which can scorch the fronds.
- Good light helps maintain the beautiful red/pink colour of new growth.
💧 Watering
- Keep the soil consistently moist but never soggy.
- Water when the top layer starts to feel slightly dry.
- Don't allow the root ball to dry out completely.
- Always use a pot with good drainage.
💦 Humidity
- Loves moderate to high humidity, ideally around 50–80%.
- Grouping it with other plants or using a humidifier can help.
- Brown/crispy frond tips usually indicate low humidity or inconsistent watering.
🌱 Soil
Use a loose, rich and well-draining mix that retains some moisture.
A good mix is:
- Cocopeat
- Organic compost
- Perlite
- A little fine bark
The soil should remain moist while still allowing excess water to drain freely.
